Porsche 993, at our Mougins workshop

Principality of Monaco

Clients in Monaco

From Monte Carlo to the hills above Cannes, the car never leaves the same customs territory.

01

No customs border.

Monaco and France form a single customs territory under the Franco-Monegasque customs convention. A car leaving the Principality for the workshop therefore goes through no customs formalities, either way.

It travels with its registration certificate and keeps its Monegasque plates. For any particular case, the customs authorities remain the reference.

02

From Monte Carlo to Mougins.

Transport is arranged on request, there and back: the car is collected from the agreed address and returned the same way. The terms are set out in writing before each departure.

You are equally welcome at the workshop, by appointment, Monday to Saturday.

03

A car that is seldom driven.

The Principality lives to the rhythm of the motor car, from the Grand Prix to the finest gatherings. Yet an exceptional car here often covers little road: a few short journeys, long weeks in the car park.

That routine wears a car differently from a long drive. Battery, tyres, brakes and fluids age without moving; a seal dries, a calliper sticks.

Regular servicing, storage and seasonal preparation answer that use. The usual questions are gathered in our answers on servicing.

04

Classic and modern.

A latest-generation Ferrari, a Rolls-Royce, a Bentley or a period Mercedes-Benz: the workshop welcomes one as readily as the other, for mechanical work, bodywork, upholstery or a full restoration.

A Mercedes-Benz 280 SL Pagoda was restored here: bodyshell stripped bare, black lacquer in the booth, interior redone in cognac leather.

05

Followed from afar.

The quote starts from the photographs and videos you send; it is confirmed once the car has been inspected at the workshop. You then deal directly with the owner of the workshop, in French, English, Russian or Arabic.

Photographs of every stage reach you as the work progresses. On return, the invoice details every task.

Your questions

Are there customs formalities between Monaco and Mougins?

No. Monaco and France form a single customs territory: the car travels without any declaration, either way.

Does the car keep its Monegasque plates?

Yes. The work changes nothing in the registration: the car returns with its Monegasque plates and registration certificate.

Can you keep the car between stays?

Yes. Storage and seasonal preparation are offered at the workshop. The car waits for you, ready to drive.

Can the quote be prepared without moving the car?

Yes. Photographs and videos are enough for a first assessment, completed by a call or a WhatsApp exchange. The quote is then confirmed once the car has been inspected at the workshop.
