Clients in Belgium

Brussels, Antwerp, Ghent or Liège. From the Low Countries to the Riviera, the journey is arranged with you.

01

Free movement.

Belgium and France both belong to the European Union: there is no customs between them. The car travels with its registration certificate and returns with its Belgian plates. From Brussels as from the Ardennes, the process is the same.

02

Transport, or a stay.

Transport is arranged on request, there and back. The terms are set out in writing before each departure.

If you spend time on the French Riviera, the car can also wait for you there: the workshop offers storage and seasonal preparation.

03

The « O » plate.

In Belgium, a car more than twenty-five years old can, as a rule, be registered as an oldtimer, on a plate beginning with the letter « O ». The status governs how the car may be used.

The DIV, the Belgian registration service, sets the conditions. Work carried out in France changes nothing.

A restoration faithful to the original respects what that status assumes. A deeper transformation deserves to be discussed with you before the quote.

04

A car that is driven.

From Spa-Francorchamps to regularity rallies, Belgium likes its classic cars on the road rather than in the showroom. A car that is driven needs sound mechanics and regular servicing: diagnosis, adjustment, brakes, running gear.

Porsche, Jaguar or Mercedes-Benz, the workshop welcomes them for this groundwork as for a full restoration. The Porsche 964 Carrera 4 restored in Mougins, metallic grey and cognac leather, went from the lift to the road.

05

Quote and follow-up.

The quote starts from your photographs and videos; it is confirmed once the car has been inspected at the workshop. You deal directly with the owner of the workshop, in French or English, and photographs of every stage reach you as the work progresses.

On return, the invoice details every task. It joins the car’s history, as precious as the car itself on the day it changes hands.

Your questions

Does the car keep its « O » plate?

Yes. Work carried out in France does not change the Belgian registration: the car returns with its plate and papers.

Can you prepare the car before the season?

Yes. Seasonal preparation is part of the workshop’s services: a service, a check of the wear points, recommissioning after the rest.

Can we talk in French?

Yes. You deal directly with the owner of the workshop, in French or English, by phone or on WhatsApp.

Can the car stay on the Riviera for the summer?

Yes. It can remain at the workshop in storage, and be prepared for each of your stays.
