Data collected

Only the data you send us through the website forms (contact, quote request, part request, order):

• name, email and phone number; for the “new cars for sale” sign-up, only your email address and language;
• details of your car (make, model, year) and your message;
• photos you choose to attach to a quote request.

Purposes and legal bases

• Answering your requests and preparing a quote: pre-contractual steps taken at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• Carrying out an order or a job and keeping the accounts: performance of the contract and legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(c)).
• Protecting the forms against automated submissions: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).
• Telling you about new cars for sale, if you sign up: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you may withdraw at any time.
• Displaying the Google Maps map: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you may withdraw at any time.
• Measuring visits to the website (pages viewed, country, source, clicks on our contact options): legitimate interest for anonymous measurement, exempt from consent under the CNIL guidelines (Art. 6(1)(f)); your consent for the statistics cookies (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you may withdraw at any time.

Retention periods

• Requests not followed by an order: 3 years from the last contact.
• Accounting records (invoices): 10 years, as required by French commercial law.
• “New cars for sale” sign-up: until you unsubscribe.
• Your cookie choice: 6 months.
• “Visit statistics” cookie, if you accept it: 12 months at most.
• Visit statistics: 25 months at most.

Recipients

Your data is intended for Original Classic And Luxury Cars only. It passes through our host, Netlify, Inc., which hosts the website and receives the forms (Netlify Forms). It is never sold or transferred.

Audience measurement is entrusted to PostHog Inc., which hosts the data in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany).

If you message us on WhatsApp or display the Google Maps map, those services process your data under their own policies.

Transfers outside the European Union

Netlify, Inc. is based in the United States. Transfers of data to this provider are covered by the standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission.

PostHog Inc. is also established in the United States: the statistics remain hosted in the European Union, and any access from outside the Union is covered by the standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission.

Cookies and trackers

The website sets no advertising cookies. The Google Maps map, which may set Google cookies, only loads with your consent (cookie banner or “Show the map” button). Your choice is kept for 6 months in your browser; you can change it at any time through the “Manage cookies” link at the bottom of every page.

Visit statistics. We measure visits to the website with PostHog (data hosted in the European Union) to learn which pages are read, from which countries and sources, and which contact options are used. No name, email address or phone number is sent, and the content of the forms is never recorded.

Without your consent, the measurement is anonymous: nothing is stored on or read from your browser (no cookie, no local storage), each page is counted on its own, and your IP address is only used to infer the country, without being kept.

If you tick “Visit statistics” (or choose “Accept all”), a random identifier is kept in a cookie and in your browser’s local storage, for 12 months at most, to link your visits together. You can withdraw your consent at any time through the “Manage cookies” link at the bottom of every page: the identifier is then erased from your browser.

Your rights
